Redom Syed - CEO & Founder
“Learn how investing works first, and you’re far more likely to be successful”
Redom is passionate about improving financial literacy standards in Australia and educating Australians about how credit works. He is recognised as an industry expert on lending market dynamics, and is renowned for producing market leading insights.
Redom graduated from University of Technology, Sydney with an Honours degree in Economics & Finance. After five years in the corporate sector working for Ernst & Young and the Federal Treasury, Redom founded Confidence Finance in 2014, employing his expertise to navigate hundreds of investors through regulatory headwinds.
Redom has won multiple industry awards, been recognised multiple times as one of Australia’s leading young brokers and has personally settled over $400 million in lending. Separately, he has also been described as a young gun property investor after accumulating over a $5 million+ portfolio before his 30th Birthday.
During his corporate career, Redom was recognised as an expert in International Financial Markets, and is a published author on the design of the International Financial Architecture.
Redom lives in Sydney with his wife and young daughter. In addition to finance & property, Redom enjoys travelling and sport.
Curtis Stewart - Director and Finance Strategist
“A goal without a plan is just a wish”
Curtis Stewart is the numbers guy – the brains behind Confidence Finance. He believes that planning and goal setting are crucial to investment success. Consequently, he works closely with our new investor clients in setting direction and action to achieve their goals.
With a First-Class Honours degree in Economics, 5 years working in finance at Federal Treasury and years working at KPMG in the corporate sector, Curtis has an eye-catching resume! He is old-school, valuing trust and loyalty and enjoying helping others to succeed.
Curtis is an active investor and lets no state boundaries stop him. While raised in the Gold Coast, he’s investment portfolio includes assets in Melbourne & the ACT.
Outside of the workplace, Curtis enjoys a good game of golf and watching his beloved Liverpool FC.

Divit Sethi - Head of Credit
“Let your past be your compass, but never your anchor”
Divit Sethi is the Master of Credit – the man tasked with getting credit approvals here at Confidence Finance. Divit adds a wealth of credit approval experience to our growing team.
Divit has quite the resume – he joins us with a glowing reputation as a gun credit analyst in the finance industry. He began as a graduate at CBA, working his way through the credit approvals team and earning a DUA of up to $2million. He then moved to ING, another lender on the Confidence Finance panel. More recently, Divit was leading credit approvals at fast growing fintech Wisr.
His literally approved 1000’s of loan applications – including home loans, debt consolidation, self-employed loans, asset finance & even personal loans.
Divit’s also added a lot of laughter value to our office – he dreams of one day dethroning Hasan Minhaj and having his own Netflix Comedy. He’s no stranger to the stage, with Divit performing stand up routines in his spare time.
Administration Team
Desmond Jim To - Administration Manager
“The difference between something good and something great is attention to detail”
Desmond, known as DJ to friends and colleagues, is the administration manager at Confidence. Desmond is responsible for ensuring all loan applications have a smooth process from start to finish, application to settlement.
Desmond’s not new to finance administration, having joined Confidence in 2017 after working with Westpac’s administration team.
Outside of work, Desmond is an expert at table tennis and has his very own travel blog!
Jessica Buising - Customer Service Manager

Jess is the admin guru that keeps Confidence Finance clients loan applications progressing smoothly through the lender process.
Jess works with Desmond as part of the administration team.
Jess joined Confidence Finance in early 2020 after spending 2 years at Westpac.
Outside of work, Jess is a badminton superstar and enjoys socialising with friends.
